WE WANT YOU TO RUN WITH US!!!
Come join us as we run (or walk!) a 5k race to support the Westchester schools in our Assembly District and to show our support for Tom's campaign. Please invite your friends to join us, too! There's plenty of room for everyone. Tom will even give tickets to an L.A. Galaxy game to whomever brings the most people! And there will be special prizes for the runners on Team Vidal who finish with the best and worst times. And, of course, everyone who runs will get an event t-shirt and a Team Vidal t-shirt.
Immediately following the race, we will have a BBQ at Tom's house in Redondo Beach.
Volunteer Opportunities:
We will have a booth at the event to show Tom’s support for the local schools in our district & the surrounding districts. For the kids we will have balloons, face paint, lemonade & snacks. We also would like to have someone who could videotape the event & someone to interview people before, during and after the race.
Event Costs (for the 5k): Pre-Registration Fee - $28.00 After 5/25/08 - $35.00 You may write a check payable to “Thomas Vidal for State Assembly,” our FPPC ID# is 1303651; or pay by credit card online at www.electvidal2008.com.
We will join as a group & pay the fee for the event directly to the organization for you. Payment constitutes a campaign contribution, but this is not for "profit" forTom's campaign, the fee is the exact cost of the event. Want to sponsor another runner? Please feel free to pay the registration fee for as many people as you like. Can’t afford to register, but want to participate? You can show your support by volunteering to help at Tom’s booth during the run/walk or letting us know so we can arrange a sponsor. Web address:
